Kidney Specialty Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our nephrology team and provide comprehensive care to patients with CKD and ESRD. This role focuses on outpatient nephrology with hospital and dialysis center collaboration under the Medical Director and nephrologists.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing as an APRN or CNS.
• Current and unrestricted Florida RN and APRN licenses.
• Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner or CNS.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney-related conditions in outpatient nephrology settings.
• Perform comprehensive examinations and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Prescribe medications and order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies within APRN scope.
• Provide ongoing management of patients with CKD and ESRD.
• Manage clinical rounds for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.
• Identify and manage ESRD-related complications including anemia, hypertension, and electrolyte abnormalities.
• Provide preventive care, follow-up visits, patient education, and chronic disease management counseling.
• Coordinate referrals and continuity of care among offices, dialysis centers, and hospitals.
