Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN/APRN/PA in Tennessee or eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program with master's or higher.
• Current national certification: AANP/ANCC/FNP.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• 1+ year of clinical nephrology experience preferred.
• DEA certification required if prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients under established clinical protocols.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on labs and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and manage individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on CKD, ESRD, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.
• Treat ESRD-related complications (anemia, hypertension, electrolyte imbalance, bone disease).
• Participate in monthly care plan meetings and staff support.
