Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Maryland is seeking an Advanced Respiratory Therapist to join the Pediatric Respiratory Care Department. You will assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions using advanced therapies, with exposure to NICU, PICU, and ECMO, in a world-class academic hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree program in Respiratory Care.
• NBRC registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Maryland State License.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Interest or experience in neonatal/pediatric respiratory care or ECMO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administer therapies including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene therapies.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
• Provide emergency care and collaborate with healthcare teams to implement tailored multidisciplinary care plans.
• Work across NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO.
