Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore is seeking an Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Pediatric Respiratory Care Department. You will assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions using advanced therapies, with exposure to NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO.

Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions are available. You will provide emergency care, manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree in Respiratory Care.
• NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Maryland State License to practice.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Interest or experience in neonatal/pediatric respiratory care or ECMO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply specialized respiratory care to assess and intervene for cardiopulmonary issues.
• Administer diverse therapies including gases, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
• Provide emergency care and collaborate on multidisciplinary care plans.
• Work across NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO.
