Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Parkville, MD is seeking an Advanced Respiratory Therapist to join the Pediatric Respiratory Care Department. You will assess and treat cardiopulmonary conditions using advanced therapies, including medical gas administration, aerosols, hyperinflation and ventilator management in NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree program in Respiratory Care.
• Registration by NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Maryland State License required or eligible.

Responsabilités

• Apply specialized respiratory care knowledge to assess and recommend interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary issues.
• Administer diverse therapies including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene therapies.
• Manage both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
• Provide emergency care and collaborate with healthcare teams for tailored multidisciplinary care plans.
• Work across NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO.
