Job summary

Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore is seeking an Advanced Respiratory Therapist to join the Pediatric Respiratory Care Department. Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions are available, with responsibilities spanning assessment and treatment of cardiopulmonary conditions using advanced therapies.

You will work across NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree program in Respiratory Care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC.
• Maryland State License required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Interest or experience in neonatal/pediatric respiratory care or ECMO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with cardiopulmonary conditions using specialized therapies.
• Administer therapies including medical gas, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
• Provide emergency care and collaborate with healthcare teams on care plans.
• Work across NICU, PICU, pediatric cardiac ICU, transport, and ECMO.
