Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem at MEDNAX in Knoxville, TN

MEDNAX is seeking a per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our established practice of 9 neonatologists and 7 NNPs in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Practice Details

• East Tennessee Children’s Hospital features a busy 60-bed, Level-III NICU
• Average daily census of 50 patients in a new, state-of-the-art unit
• Responsibilities include caring for babies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery
• Approximately 7,000 deliveries annually with strong pediatric subspecialty support
• Services include high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide
• Shifts are 8 hours; 24-hour shifts are possible

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• TN license required
• Local candidates preferred
