Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a neonatal nurse practitioner to join our well-established practice in Knoxville, Tennessee on a per diem basis. You will provide care for babies in the busy Level-III NICU at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and in the Newborn Nursery, collaborating with nine neonatologists and seven NNPs.

The position offers a competitive per diem compensation package, with strong pediatric subspecialty support and a supportive team in a hospital with about 7,000 deliveries

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification in Neonatology.
• Master's degree required (MSN or equivalent).
• TN license or IMLC license required.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for babies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery.
• Collaborate with neonatology team across a Level-III NICU setting.

• East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is a busy 60-bed, Level-III NICU
• Our average daily census of 50 and a new state-of-the art unit
• Responsibilities include caring for babies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery
• There are approximately 7,000 deliveries per year and the hospital provides strong pediatric subspecialty support
• Services provided include high frequency ventilation and nitric oxide
• Wonderful support, established practice, all located in the beautiful valley of East Tennessee.
