Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an ISCU Registered Nurse to deliver safe, compassionate care in the Infant Special Care Unit. You will implement the patient plan of care using the nursing process and supervise unlicensed staff, while coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements include NLN-accredited nursing education, IL licensure, BLS/CPR, and 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience; NICU/ISCU exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• Current IL nursing license required.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and promote high quality patient experience.
