Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU). This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week with rotating day and night shifts (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) and weekend rotation.

Float duties may apply to support patient care and team needs. The ideal candidate will have NLN-accredited nursing education, a IL nursing license, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience, with NICU/ISCU exposure strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program is required.
BSN strongly preferred.
Certification: BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers required (AHA).
License: Illinois RN license in good standing.
Experience: 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience preferred.
NICU/ISCU experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.
