Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with varied shifts including 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 and weekend rotation.

You will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to ISCU patients, follow the nursing process, mentor unlicensed staff, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

NLN‑accredited nursing program graduate; BSN strongly preferred.
Current IL RN license.
BLS/CPR certification required for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
1 year acute care or ISCU experience preferred.
NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
