Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. You will independently provide safe, compassionate nursing care, apply the nursing process, and guide unlicensed staff in delivering care across shifts.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care, contributing to safety and patient experience every day.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA) required.
• IL registered nurse license required.
• 1 year of acute care nursing or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
