Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with alternating day and night shifts and weekend rotations, requiring flexibility to float when needed.

You will provide compassionate neonatal care and collaborate with the care team to support vulnerable newborns and their families. The ideal candidate will have an NLN-accredited nursing program, IL license, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of ISCU or acute

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA is required.
• Current IL nursing license is required.
• 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
