Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. The role is full-time with rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, and weekend coverage.

You will provide specialized pediatric nursing care, use the nursing process to plan and evaluate care, and supervise unlicensed staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• Current IL RN license.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
