Job summary

Proudworks in Wisconsin is seeking a Transportation Scheduler to optimize non-emergency medical transport scheduling and communications. You will support drivers, brokers, and riders with accurate trip details and timely updates.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in transportation, data-entry and customer-service experience, and a valid driving record. This full-time role may require after-hours calls and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in transportation or a similar industry.
• At least one year in a support role in data entry and customer service.
• At least one year of driving experience to perform driving requirements safely.
• Able to pass drug screening and complete background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive vans or other vehicles for client transportation as needed in a backup capacity.
• Review, accept, schedule and arrange all NEMT trips and support vehicle maintenance.
• Gather advance trip details: date, time, location, duration, chair type, etc.
• Resolve questions or issues with broker, passenger, or responsible parties.
• Communicate promptly with drivers about cancellations, no-shows, or delays.
• Verify trip completion data and ensure billing for NEMT trips is accurate.
• Enforce safety rules, vehicle operation, wheelchair procedures, and IDs.
