City of New York, through NYCHA, seeks a Neighborhood Planner to deploy resources efficiently and ensure residents receive critical repairs. You will schedule and organize skilled trades work orders across multiple developments comprising about 5,000 units, guiding work from start to close and coordinating with residents.

The role requires extensive supervisory and administrative experience, travel within Manhattan Neighborhood 08, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in operation, repair and maintenance of large tenanted buildings.
• At least 18 months in an administrative capacity.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee skilled trades work orders from start to finish for neighborhood developments.
• Schedule residents' repairs and coordinate with tenants to minimize disruption.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure cost-effective work orders.
• Create ad-hoc reporting for the Neighborhood Administrator.
• Serve as liaison between NYCHA management levels and borough leadership.
• Travel to developments within the assigned neighborhood as required.
