Job summary

Redwood Living, Inc. seeks a Neighborhood Service Specialist to provide hands-on maintenance and operational support across neighborhoods. You will uphold standards, assist vacancy coverage, and guide on-site teams while coordinating with Regional Managers for resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include site inspections, onboarding new technicians, processing bids, and performing basic trades. A strong safety mindset and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; trade certification preferred.
• EPA/HVAC certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and computer literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Fill in at sites with Service Technician vacancies.
• Onboard and support new Service Technicians on policy and procedure.
• Perform site inspections under Regional Manager direction.
• Obtain bids, interview contractors, follow up and support special projects.
• Repair and maintain facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Perform light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry, and drywall tasks.
• Prepare vacated apartment homes for release quickly and professionally.
• Respond to resident complaints in a timely, professional manner.
