Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Ogden, UT is seeking an NDT Inspector for the Day shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, to perform quality inspections using RT, PT and MP methods.

You will certify products to customer specifications, maintain traceability, and interpret inspection results. You will work closely with engineers on scrap, rework and process issues, and may help develop NDT techniques and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Meets all requirements to certify in RT, PT and/or MP.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and measurement gauges.
• Able to read blueprints and specifications.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally; up to 25 lbs continuously.
• Near vision and color perception requirements as stated.

Responsibilities

• Certifies product in conformance with customer specs and maintains traceability.
• Performs penetrant, X-ray, and magnetic particle inspections and interprets results.
• Operates vapor degreaser and performs process checks.
• Maintains lot integrity and ensures proper paperwork.
• Communicates with engineers on scrap, rework, and process issues.
• May create NDT techniques and work instructions.
