Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an NDT Inspector to perform quality inspections using RT, PT, and MP methods on hardware to detect surface and subsurface discontinuities. Responsibilities include operating NDT equipment, interpreting results, and coordinating with engineers to address scrap and rework issues.

Qualifications

• NDT certifications in RT/PT/MP required.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications.
• Firm understanding of gauging and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetrant, X-ray, and magnetic particle inspections and interpret results.
• Certify product conformance and maintain traceability.
• Operate and calibrate NDT equipment and perform maintenance.
• Communicate findings with engineers on scrap, rework and process issues.
• Ensure paperwork is properly completed and maintain lot integrity.
