Precision Castparts Corp. in Ogden, UT is seeking an NDT Technician Level 1 for the Titanium FPI weekend graveyard shift. You will perform quality inspections using NDT methods including X-ray, penetrant, and magnetic particle testing and evaluate hardware for conformance with customer specifications.

The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting specs, maintaining equipment, and communicating with engineers on scrap and rework while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Meets all requirements to certify in RT, PT and MP.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

Responsabilités

• Certifies product in conformance with customer specifications and maintains traceability.
• May create NDT techniques and work instructions.
• Performs penetrant, X-ray, and magnetic particle inspections and interprets results.
• Performs maintenance and calibrations on NDT equipment.
• Communicates with engineers on scrap and process issues.
