Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is hiring an NDT Inspector – Intermediate in El Dorado, KS. You will evaluate fabricated materials with dimensional checks and non-destructive testing methods, supporting production goals and safety policies.

The role requires Level II NDT certification or progress toward it, and 5+ years of related experience or an appropriate degree. You will document results and collaborate with the quality team to ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Level II NDT certifications or ability to obtain Level II within agreed time by Valmont
• 5+ years of related work/educational experience or higher education as listed
• Ability to operate NDT testing equipment and interpret results
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 and related codes

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate products to ensure conformance to specifications
• Interpret NDT and quality reports for acceptance
• Mentor Entry level NDT Inspectors and document OJT progress
• Coordinate with Quality and Production to meet goals
• Maintain NDT reports and records for company and contractors
