Job summary

SunTechPros Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Business Analyst/Solution Designer with 8+ years of experience in custom SharePoint solutions and Power Platform workflows. You will design, prototype, and validate enterprise-level content management applications for the Permits and District Offices tools.

You will gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and mentor junior staff while ensuring a robust full software development lifecycle is followed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience as Business Analyst/Solution Designer.
• Proven expertise with custom SharePoint solutions and Power Platform workflows.
• Experience with enterprise-level content management.
• Ability to translate business needs into user stories for development teams.
• Proven ability to prototype, test, and debug applications.

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds custom SharePoint and web-based solutions for Permits and District Offices tools.
• Gathers requirements from business clients and translates them into user stories for the Development Team.
• Prototypes, tests, and debugs applications and processes, including the Permits virtual/help agent.
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Application Trainer, or Quality Assurance Analyst.
• Experience as a SharePoint Business Analyst.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SharePoint as a designer.
• SharePoint design, testing, and training expertise (lists, libraries, content types).
• Proven experience evaluating and re-engineering business processes.
• Proven ability to write clear and concise technical training materials and documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of the full application development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs and builds custom SharePoint and web-based solutions for the Permits and District Offices tools.
• Gathers requirements from business clients and translates them into user stories for the Development Team.
• Prototypes, tests, and debugs applications and processes, including the Permits virtual/help agent.
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Application Trainer, or Quality Assurance Analyst
• Experience as a SharePoint Business Analyst
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SharePoint as a designer
• SharePoint design, testing, and training expertise (lists, libraries, content types)
• Proven experience evaluating and re-engineering business processes
