• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Application Trainer, or Quality Assurance Analyst.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training materials and user guides.

Responsabilidades

• Designs and builds SharePoint and web-based solutions for Permits and District Offices tools.
• Gathers requirements from business clients and translates them into user stories for the Development Team.
• Prototypes, tests, and debugs applications and processes, including the Permits virtual help agent.
• Prioritizes and tracks work items to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Re-engineers business processes and identifies quick wins for District Offices and legislative fee prep.
• Tests deliverables and develops training materials for new processes and systems.
• Leads and mentors junior technical staff, providing direction and oversight on design and development tasks.
• Supports and improves live Permits and District Offices tools across stakeholders, developers, and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs and builds custom SharePoint and web-based solutions for the Permits and District Offices tools.
• Gathers requirements from business clients and translates them into user stories for the Development Team.
• Prototypes, tests, and debugs applications and processes, including the Permits virtual/help agent.
• Prioritizes and tracks work items to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Re-engineers business processes and identifies quick wins for District Offices and legislative fee prep.
• Tests deliverables and develops training materials and documentation for new processes and systems.
• Leads and mentor’s junior-level technical staff, providing direction, guidance, and oversight on design and development tasks.
• Supports and continuously improves the live Permits and District Offices tools across stakeholders, developers, and end users.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated success in balancing customer needs with organizational policies, constraints, and project goals
• Experience in providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior technical staff.
• Knowledge of NCDOT Permits processes and District Office operations
• Knowledge of NCDOT’s Transportation Life Cycle business processes

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Application Trainer, or Quality Assurance Analyst
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills
• Experience as a SharePoint Business Analyst
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SharePoint as a designer
• SharePoint design, testing, and training expertise (lists, libraries, content types)
• Proven experience evaluating and re-engineering business processes
• Proven ability to write clear and concise technical training materials and documentation
• Extensive knowledge of the full application development life cycle
