Talent Solutions Partners in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Project Manager for NCDOT highway, bridge and utility work. Lead preconstruction to closeout, own budget, schedule and safety, with a backlog already won and direct access to senior leadership.

You’ll manage self-perform teams, coordinate with owners, engineers and vendors, ensure cost control, timely reporting, and compliance on multiple NCDOT projects across central North Carolina.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as the Project Manager of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility projects
• NCDOT project experience as PM required; able to name jobs
• Contractor-side experience; not suitable for pure consultant/inspection roles
• Strong cost control, scheduling, change orders and field-team management
• OSHA 30 preferred

Responsabilités

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects as PM of record from preconstruction through closeout
• Own the budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margin on every job
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and act on variances early
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety
• Serve as main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders and manage subcontractor performance
• Handle change orders, pay estimates, submittals, claims and contract documentation
• Run weekly project meetings on schedule and cost, and report performance to leadership
• Keep a strong safety culture on every site
