University of South Alabama’s Financial Aid Office is seeking a Financial Aid Officer – NCAA Compliance to oversee NCAA Bylaw 15 compliance in athletic financial aid.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of financial compliance or related experience, with NCAA compliance experience preferred. The incumbent will manage aid disbursements, reporting, and liaison with Athletics staff on compliance and eligibility matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama.
• One year of financial compliance or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of NCAA Bylaw 15 regarding financial aid.
• Monitor, document, educate, report and enhance policies and procedures regarding athletic aid.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and NCAA rules and regulations; notify Athletics compliance staff of issues.
• Assist in determining student athletes’ eligibility for federal and athletic aid within guidelines.
• Prepare and file NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and institutional financial aid records and reports.
