Job summary

WSP USA seeks an experienced Underwater Inspection Team Leader to join our dive inspection team across multiple East Coast and Midwest offices. Lead NBIS-based underwater bridge inspections and manage complex operations with client interface.

You will guide safety programs, mentor field crews, and ensure high-quality inspection deliverables while coordinating with project managers to meet schedule and budget constraints. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• NBIS and underwater bridge inspection qualifications required.
• Extensive experience leading field inspection teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document findings.
• Proficiency with BrM and Office suite; willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Valid driver's license and safety certifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform bridge and waterfront inspections per NBIS, OSHA and owner requirements.
• Plan methodologies, logistics, equipment, and staffing for projects.
• Prepare, review, and finalize inspection reports per project standards.
• Support DSO, reinforce safety policies, and oversee dive equipment maintenance.
• Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to staff.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet schedules, budget, and quality goals.
• Represent WSP in client meetings and field coordination.
• Support business development through client engagement and project delivery.
