Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks an experienced Underwater Inspection Team Leader to join our dive inspection team with offices across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

You will lead complex NBIS bridge and waterfront inspections, coordinate dive crews, and interface with clients to ensure safety and quality of workmanship. The role requires NBIS Team Leader and NBIS Underwater Bridge Inspection qualifications, ADCI Diving Supervisor certification, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in bridge and/or waterfront inspection.
• NBIS Team Leader qualification.
• NBIS Underwater Bridge Inspection qualification.
• ADCI Diving Supervisor certification.
• Current ADCI-approved diving physical within the last 12 months.
• Kirby Morgan Technician certification.
• PSI-PCI certification.
• Proven ability to lead field teams with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform bridge and waterfront inspections per owner requirements, NBIS standards, OSHA regulations.
• Plan inspection methodologies, field logistics, access equipment, and staffing.
• Prepare, review, and finalize inspection reports.
• Support the Diving Safety Officer by reinforcing safety policies and overseeing dive equipment maintenance.
• Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to staff and divers.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Represent WSP professionally in client meetings and site visits.
• Support business development through client engagement and successful project delivery.
