Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks an experienced Underwater Inspection Team Leader to join the dive inspection team. The role supports NBIS-compliant bridge and waterfront inspections, leading crews, coordinating field operations, and ensuring safety-focused project delivery.

You will interface with clients, review inspection reports, mentor staff, and reinforce safety programs while managing equipment maintenance and project quality. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge and/or waterfront inspection.
• NBIS Team Leader qualification required.
• NBIS Underwater Bridge Inspection qualification required.
• ADCI Diving Supervisor certification required.
• Current ADCI-approved diving physical within 12 months.
• Kirby Morgan Technician certification required.
• PSI-PCI certification required.
• Demonstrated experience leading field teams with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to document findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform bridge and waterfront inspections per owner requirements and NBIS standards.
• Plan inspection methodologies, field logistics, access equipment, and staffing for projects.
• Prepare, review, and finalize inspection reports.
• Support the Diving Safety Officer by reinforcing safety policies and training.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to inspection staff and divers.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
• Represent WSP professionally during client meetings and site visits.
• Assist business development through client engagement and project delivery.
