Job summary
WSP Global Inc. seeks an experienced Underwater Inspection Team Leader to join its dive inspection team. You will lead NBIS-based bridge and waterfront inspections, mentor divers, and ensure safety-focused delivery for complex projects across multiple offices, with travel up to 50%.
The role requires strong leadership, NBIS qualifications, and current ADCI certifications, interfacing with clients and maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all inspections.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in bridge and/or waterfront inspection.
- NBIS Team Leader qualification.
- NBIS Underwater Bridge Inspection qualification.
- ADCI Diving Supervisor certification.
- Current ADCI-approved diving medical (within 12 months).
- Kirby Morgan Technician certification.
- PSI-PCI certification.
- Proven leadership of field teams with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Lead underwater bridge and waterfront inspections per owner requirements and NBIS standards.
- Plan methodologies, field logistics, access equipment, and staffing.
- Prepare and review inspection reports.
- Mentor and supervise inspection personnel and divers.
- Coordinate with project managers to meet schedules, budgets and quality goals.
- Represent WSP in client meetings and site visits.
- Support business development through client engagement.
