Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an experienced professional to support OPNAV N96, responsible for naval combat systems planning, force levels, and program requirements, with on-site support at the Pentagon. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years’ experience substitute), five years of naval systems experience, and travel up to 10%. You will develop process maps, maintain schedules, generate metrics, and prepare briefing slides and charts using MS

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years additional experience substitutes for a Bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years of experience in naval combat systems functions and/or applying concepts, policies, requirements processes, and program guidance.
• Knowledge of naval weapons systems, maintenance policies and procedures for Navy ships.
• Ability to produce briefing slides, metric charts, program schedules, and organizational charts.
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed process map and playbook for planning, programming, and budgeting of naval weapons systems.
• Identify, justify and manage the logistics resource requirements needed to maintain and operate surface ship systems.
• Monitor and report on programs and projects to ensure proper program management and resourcing.
• Generate metrics, as needed.
• Maintain and track internal and external taskers.
• Maintain daily liaison with branch leadership.
• Participate in Government/Contractor meetings as well as other interagency meetings as required.
