Job summary

Serco is seeking a Contractor Assistant Program Manager (Program Support Lead) to support the NAVSEA 05Z program in Washington, DC. The role requires DoD secret clearance, US citizenship, a bachelor’s degree, and at least 5 years of related experience.

You will lead job descriptions, resume reviews, onboarding, and manage reports, timecards and financials. The successful candidate will train government and contractor personnel on submarine operations, risk management, and certifications, while

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
• Able to work independently and within large teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the PM in day-to-day operations within the program (job description development, resume reviews, interviews, onboarding).
• Compile, edit and submit weekly, monthly and annual reports; manage timecards.
• Oversee financial management and employee recognition.
• Provide training to government and contractor personnel on submarine operation, construction, risk management and certifications.
• Research and analyze possible courses of action; present concise recommendations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in presenting information to senior management.
