Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Submarine Project Manager to lead a team supporting the US Navy on the Team Submarine contract in Washington, DC.

You will provide programmatic support to NAVSEA customers, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of outputs while maintaining safety and mission readiness for submarines. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, US citizenship, and a bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field required or equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with Navy acquisition and submarine programs highly preferred.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact for all activities and provide updates on project status.
• Lead program review sessions with the customer addressing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
• Serve as the single point of contact on contract management-related issues, including required reports and presentations.
• Support budget development by delivering financial and management guidance.
• Deliver technical performance within cost and schedule parameters to contract completion.
• Manage technical and administrative staff and provide ongoing direction.
• Develop and monitor the program plan with time and cost estimates to ensure on-time, on-budget outputs.
• Lead technical discussions for project reviews and present formal briefings.
• Participate in company Business Development efforts.
