Job summary

Serco invites applications for a Contractor Assistant Program Manager to support the NAVSEA 05Z program office. You will work on submarine power system design and testing coordination, report preparation, and personnel development in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment in the Washington, DC area.

The role requires a current DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience.
• Advanced MS Office skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Able to work independently and in large teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support the PM with day-to-day program operations, including job description development.
• Review resumes and conduct interviews; support onboarding processes.
• Compile, edit and submit weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
• Manage timecards and assist with financial management.
• Provide training to government and contractor personnel on submarine operations, risk management and certifications.
• Present information concisely to senior management and stakeholders.
