Job summary

Serco invites applications for a Construction Engineering Support role supporting the US Navy's Submarine In-service Program Office in Northern Virginia. You will provide engineering and fluid systems support, perform analyses, and prepare briefs up to Flag level to inform decision-makers.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a technical field, at least 2 years of experience, excellent written and oral communications, and willingness to travel up to 10%. A DoW Secret security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field with minimum 2 years of experience.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Time management skills.
• Proven excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and fluid systems support to the program office.
• Recommend actions for unexpected technical and programmatic issues related to RDT&E.
• Perform planning, cost, schedule, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Review and develop input to evaluate documentation and briefs for decision makers.
• Prepare Unclassified and Classified briefs for audiences up to and including the Flag level.
• Attend meetings and specified Program IPTs.
