Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Program Manager, Compute & Production IPT Lead at our Largo, FL site to drive hardware development and production delivery on a major U.S. Navy program. Qualifications

• University degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years.
• Experience leading engineering development and vendor hardware development activities, including production deliveries.
• Demonstrated experience leading all phases of program execution with plans, schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Profit & Loss (P&L) management.
• Customer-facing program leadership with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading teams of 20+ people and managing programs valued at $30 million or more.
• Ability to travel up to 15% for customer, company, and program activities.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of execution for the Compute & Production IPT, ensuring delivery against contractual commitments, technical requirements, program schedules, and budgets.
• Direct cross-functional teams responsible for engineering development, vendor hardware activities, and internal production to achieve milestones and delivery commitments.
• Manage IPT financial and schedule performance using EVM, identify variances, evaluate risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Apply Agile development methodologies to coordinate activities, manage priorities, and support iterative product delivery.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, and program execution challenges while delivering value to customer and business.
• Develop and present program plans, performance updates, financial status, and risk assessments to leadership.
• Prepare and maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) with accurate forecasts for reviews and planning.
• Partner with leadership to identify staffing needs and coordinate resources across dispersed teams.
