Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Marlborough, MA is seeking an experienced Program Manager / Test Engineering Lead to guide cross-functional teams from requirements through deployment, overseeing RF/analog/digital/test systems and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years in engineering, hands-on test hardware/software, and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. On-site training and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and customers are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret clearance required.
• Experience in engineering labs and transitioning automated test solutions to production.
• Experience delivering hardware/software solutions and on-site operator training.
• Experience in leadership roles, managing multi-disciplinary teams through programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team through program execution to meet technical, schedule, and cost goals.
• Develop test hardware and software from requirements to deployment.
• Oversee design and integration of test solutions across RF, analog, digital, firmware, and systems.
• Support proposals and bidding activities to drive growth.
• Create and manage program schedules, track progress, and address deviations.
• Provide on-site training and troubleshooting for operators and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare technical presentations and project status updates.
• Ensure compliance with budget, schedule and performance commitments.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams for successful outcomes.
