Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking an ID Card Specialist (PA II) in San Diego, CA, to support the Navy ICA program. You will perform DEERS/RAPIDS duties, verify eligibility as a VO, and issue DoD ID cards for active duty, retirees, dependents, and contractors.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year in customer service, and a U.S. citizenship with a favorable NACLC clearance. Strong MS Office skills and security awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation.
• Substitutions for HR background allowed from private sector or other Federal Agencies.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication to explain complex actions regarding military entitlements.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiar with standard office equipment (computers, printers, copiers, scanners).
• Must be a U.S. citizen with favorably adjudicated Tier 3 (NACLC) security investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide ID Card services for Navy ICA program at DEERS/RAPIDS sites.
• Verify identity and eligibility as Verifying Official (VO).
• Issue DoD Identification Cards and perform DEERS updates in accordance with DoD regulations.
• Maintain RAPIDS workstations and assist customers with enrollment and inquiries.
• Ensure regulatory and security compliance in all ICA operations.
