Magellan Health, Inc. is seeking a Part Time/On Call ID Card Specialist (PA II) to support the Navy ICA program at San Diego, CA. You will deliver ID Card services, verify eligibility, and support DEERS/RAPIDS operations for DoD beneficiaries and contractors.

The role requires strong customer service experience, MS Office proficiency, and a U.S. citizen with a favorable NACLC background. This is a part-time, on-call position with responsibilities aligned to DMDC standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in a Customer Service environment.
• HR background in Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims or Navy Transportation.
• Substitutions for HR background can be from similar experience gained in either the private sector or other Federal Agency.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication to communicate effectively and explain complex actions regarding military entitlements, allowances and collections.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Must be U.S. citizen and possess favorably adjudicated Tier 3 (NACLC) security investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide ID Card services to DoD beneficiaries and verify identity and eligibility.
• Operate DEERS/RAPIDS terminals and act as Verifying Official (VO).
• Assist with DEERS enrollment, updates, and PIN resets.
• Answer inquiries and support customers on identification card requirements and enrollment processes.
• Maintain RAPIDS equipment and process CACs, ensuring data accuracy and security.
