Job summary

MIKEL Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Keyport, WA, to support NUWC divisions with test, evaluation, and sustainment of Undersea Warfare systems, including design, production, and fielding activities.

Qualifications: BS in Mechanical Engineering, 4–7 years of experience, GD&T, CAD (Solid Edge/SolidWorks), FEA, MATLAB/LabVIEW; strong documentation; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
• Experience with mechanical design, development, test and deployment for complex systems is desired.
• GD&T knowledge and proficiency with CAD/FEA tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support NUWC Division Keyport departments in TT&E and sustainment of USW systems.
• Assist in design, production, testing, fielding, and life-cycle support of weapon systems.
• Prepare technical documentation and drawings using CAD tools.
