Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton seeks a Program Representative to coordinate, manage, and execute maintenance and modernization programs for naval contracts. You will interface with EB sites, subcontractors, and sponsors to deliver work safely, on time, and within budget.

The role combines program management and technical oversight, requiring strong communication, planning, and cost-performance skills. Travel to other shipyards (less than 10%) may be requested to support Navy interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience within EB or naval shipyard departments.
• Proven project management, cost performance metrics experience.
• Knowledge of submarine maintenance and safety procedures.
• Experience with availability certification and related manuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and execute maintenance and modernization work via contracts.
• Develop strategies to win solicitations and plan maintenance availabilities.
• Coordinate work across Groton, off-site locations, EB sites, and subcontractors.
• Report progress, manage issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality.
