Job summary

Serco in Everett, WA seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead Naval Acquisition and Sustainment activities for U.S. Navy surface ships.

You will oversee engineering and technical services supporting overhaul, repair, maintenance planning and readiness of HM&E and related systems, with a focus on safety and compliance. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, strong leadership of cross-functional teams, and extensive knowledge of naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in engineering management or Associate with 14+ years.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.
• Five years of supervisory experience in engineering/maintenance for ships.
• Three years with surface ship maintenance, propulsion, or related systems.
• Two years' experience with propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and related ship systems.
• Oversee inspections, analysis, and repairs for naval propulsion and auxiliaries.
• Coordinate with Ship's Force and liaise with reactor departments as needed.
• Develop training and work packages for maintenance planning and execution.
• Manage personnel to support short-term and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
