Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Manager Representative to coordinate and implement the pre-planning and execution of NAVSEA ship modernization. You will work with shipyards, government sponsors, and maintenance centers to ensure accurate data and timely milestones, while managing costs and supporting a large maintenance team.

You will report on progress, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to the program’s success with strong writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of directly relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Willingness to work on site at Naval Base or private shipyard and travel up to 10% within CONUS.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report MSR and AIT adherence to production and test milestones; manage financials and schedule impacts.
  • Coordinate with shipyard, NSA, and NAVSEA 21 to review design changes and growth work.
  • Assist in visits to ships and Navy facilities to evaluate alterations and installations.
  • Review CFRs for cost, production, and testing impacts; communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Develop briefings, documents, and reports for clients; maintain security procedures.
