The role involves fabricating and assembling electromechanical and electronic assemblies on U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in Virginia, with potential overtime and shifts as needed. Experience with blueprints and preventive maintenance is valued, and employees must be able to travel up to 10% to various sites, including Newport News, VA, while maintaining a

Competenze

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required or desired
• OSHA 10 certification is desired
• Experience fabricating and assembling electromechanical and electronic assemblies preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to various work sites

Mansioni

• Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to fabricate and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions and reporting malfunctions.
• Perform work with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field.
• Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations, including challenging environments with drafts, noise, and temperature variations.
• Work with equipment where carelessness could result in injury or worse.
