Job summary

National Steel and Shipbuilding Com is seeking a Scheduler to produce critical path resource-loaded production schedules and integrate schedules with AIT and subcontractors. You will develop production reports for management and provide schedule insight through planning and execution phases.

The role requires experience with Primavera P6, MS Office, and an understanding of Government contracting methods. Travel and shipyard environment familiarity are a plus; locally hired only.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a BA/BS in a related field, or AA/AS with 2 years experience, or 6 years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of ship repair, overhaul, and modernization processes.
• Proficient in activity definition, sequencing, CP analysis, and resource loading.
• Experience with Government contracting methods and processes.

Responsibilities

• Produce critical path loaded production schedules and reports.
• Integrate production schedules with Assist Integration Teams and subcontractors.
• Lead and attend progress meetings and provide schedule insight.
• Develop Gantt, PERT, and manpower charts for internal/external use.
• Advise on schedule impacts due to material or RCC delays.
