Job summary

NASSCO Bremerton is seeking a Scheduler to produce critical path, resource-loaded production schedules and integrate with Assist Integration Teams (AIT) and Subcontractors. The role includes developing and providing production reports for the management team.

The position requires experience with scheduling software, Master plans and detailed tactical schedules, and familiarity with Government contracting processes. Must be able to travel and work on vessels.

Qualifications

• Typically has a BA/BS in a related field, or AA/AS plus two (2) years’ directly related experience, or six (6) years’ directly related experience.
• P6 Primavera, AIM, Concerto and EP experience strongly preferred
• In depth knowledge of ship repair, overhaul and modernization processes and procedures.
• Familiar with Estimating and Contractual methods in a Government environment.
• Proficient in activity definition, sequencing, critical path analysis, resource loading and leveling.

Responsibilities

• Provides Flat File copies of multi-craft, integrated schedules on a pre-determined schedule to Trades and Production departments and to the customer for advance planning and execution projects.
• Provides schedule insight during planning and execution phases of all projects and incorporates changes in work schedule or scope to the overall project.
• Attends/leads progress meetings on a pre-determined schedule.
• Produces Gantt, PERT, and manpower charts for submission internally and externally.
• Assists Senior Scheduler in problem resolution and compares submitted progress to actual work completion.
