Job summary

National Steel and Shipbuilding Com is seeking a Scheduler to produce critical path, resource loaded production schedules and integrate schedules with AIT and Subcontractors. The role includes developing production reports for management.

Education typically requires a BA/BS in a related field or AA/AS with two years of related experience, or six years of related experience. Primavera P6, AIM, Concerto and EP experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically has a BA/BS in a related field, or AA/AS plus two (2) years’ directly related experience, or six (6) years’ directly related experience.
• P6 Primavera, AIM, Concerto and EP experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides flat file copies of multi-craft, integrated schedules on a pre-determined schedule to the Trades and Production departments, as well as to the customer for advance planning and execution projects.
• Attends/leads progress meetings on a pre-determined schedule.
• Produces Gantt, PERT, and manpower charts for submission both internally and externally.
• Assists Senior Scheduler in problem resolution and determines difference between base line contract work, change order work and new work.
• Provides technical guidance to subcontractors for work definition, scheduling, and progressing.
