Job summary

ENGINEERING SERVICES NETWORK, Inc. is seeking a Ship Cost Estimator to support Navy clients onsite at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. The role requires data analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

A high school diploma is required, with a preferred Bachelor's degree in finance, math, economics, engineering, or naval architecture. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, organize and analyze data to support life-cycle maintenance and modernization efforts from Government databases.
• Support cost analysis for maintenance and modernization requirements and Reliability Centered Maintenance tasks.
• Identify and track cost savings, cost avoidances or cost increases impacting O&S costs of aircraft carriers.
• Support development of Technical Foundation Paper (TFP) and other documentation for POM submittals.
• Analyze maintenance/modernization and cost data for aircraft carrier availabilities and support life cycle planning.
