Job summary

Bristol Infrastructure Designs Services, LLC seeks a Construction Support Cost Estimator to support the Navy at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. This role provides independent cost engineering for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other commands.

Responsibilities include feasibility reviews, cost data analysis for long-lead items, field verification, and participation in pre/post-award meetings and contract oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in AE/CW construction cost estimating for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience with large projects (> $10M) and cost data review.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost engineering support for planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
• Attend pre/post-award meetings and document findings.
• Review data for major equipment and long-lead items; advise on cost implications.
• Perform field inspections to verify construction changes.
• Support audits, disputes, and terminations processing.
