Job summary

Prescient Edge in the United States, Florida, Panama City is seeking a highly organized Inventory/Logistics Specialist to manage government and contractor-owned inventory across naval RDT&E programs. You will ensure asset accountability, support lifecycle management, and maintain accurate records in a dynamic government environment.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in inventory/logistics, experience in defense settings, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• Minimum 3 years in inventory, logistics, property accountability, or asset management.
• Experience in Navy/DoD or defense contractor environments preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365: Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), CAP, and program assets.
• Conduct inventory audits, reconciliations, and periodic reviews.
• Track equipment through procurement, receipt, storage, issuance, transfer, maintenance and disposition.
• Maintain inventory databases and documentation.
• Coordinate with program managers, engineers, logistics personnel, and government stakeholders.
• Prepare inventory reports and audit documentation for government review.
• Support shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material handling.
• Assist lifecycle planning, sustainment tracking, and replacement forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with Government Property Management procedures and contractual requirements.
• Support program reviews, technical demonstrations, testing events, and fielding activities.
