Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Program Inventory Manager to support a federal government client. You will manage government and contractor-owned inventory, ensuring accountability of equipment across naval RDT&E efforts while maintaining rigorous documentation.

This role requires a highly organized individual familiar with government property procedures, audits, and lifecycle management. Occasional travel to Panama City, FL may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inventory, logistics, property accountability, or asset management.
• Experience working in a Navy/DoD environment or defense contractor setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability and visibility of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), and other program assets.
• Conduct inventory audits, reconciliations, and periodic property reviews.
• Track equipment through procurement, receipt, storage, issuance, transfer, maintenance, and disposition processes.
• Maintain inventory databases, asset tracking systems, and documentation.
• Coordinate with program managers, engineers, technicians, logistics personnel, and government stakeholders on asset requirements and availability.
• Prepare inventory reports, status updates, and audit documentation for government review.
• Support shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material handling activities as required.
• Assist lifecycle planning, sustainment tracking, and equipment replacement forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with government property management procedures and contractual requirements.
• Support program reviews, technical demonstrations, testing events, and fielding activities.
